Research Interests :
The Embedded Systems group is working on the design and implementation of high performance control and real-time systems using microprocessors (μPs), microcontrollers (μCs), Field Programmable Gate Arrays (FPGAs) and Digital Signal Processors (DSPs).
Research is mainly focused on :
Experience :
The team has a remarkable experience on the use of CAD software for VLSI design, such as Cadence, and Tanner Tools software. In addition, the team has access to a fully equipped laboratory for computer-based design, measuring, and characterization of analog and mixed signal systems. The cooperation of ELLAB with Intracom SA, has led to the design and implementation of DSPs (TI), μCs (ARM) and FPGAs systems for telecommunication applications (V.32 and V.34 modems). |
